I confess…. I am addicted to a reality tv show. Truly!
The Great British Bake Off which is aired on BBC @ 20h00 UK time (21h00 Belgium time) is fast becoming one my firm favourites… not that I watch a lot of television… but I do watch a lot of DVD’s and box set tv series. But this is now at the point where I actually make sure that dinner plans that happen to fall on a Tuesday night are *early enough* for me to get home in time to settle onto the couch ready for Bake-off action – something that I don’t do for any other tv program (with the exclusion of the first season of survivor many MANY years ago)
With Mary Berry (Baking Queen) and Paul Hollywood (Bread King) as the infamous expert baking judges and Sue Perks and Mel Giedroyc as the presenters… the show appeals to all types of humour (and the innuendo’s!!!)
An hour-long and edge-of-the-seat kind of gripping show – with 4 episodes already aired… I am now feeling even more inspired to get my bum into the kitchen and keep up the weekly *cake for the office* tradition! (Not that any of my amateur home baking can ever live up to the 12 participants displays of baking acumen!) Plus, HIM arrived with a bag of apples on Tuesday and I was scratching my brains (and recipe books on what to do with them).
I finally decided upon an Apple Tart out of my Snowflake Baking book.
